AI Engineer based in Hanoi, Vietnam — building intelligent systems from Computer Vision to NLP, while finding inspiration in the endless mysteries of the cosmos.
Hi! I'm DAO Duy Manh Ha, known as Rêveur. I'm an AI Engineer & ML Researcher based in Hanoi, Vietnam, previously worked at eUp Technology JSC and pursuing a Master in AI at QUT (Feb 2026).
My work spans Computer Vision, NLP, and generative AI — from medical image fusion research at ICTLab to building production-ready AI pipelines. I graduated with a GPA of 3.6/4.0 from USTH and hold IELTS 7.0 and DELF B1.

Here are some of my featured projects.
Research at ICTLab, USTH: Deep learning pipeline for fusing PET and MRI medical images. Novel enhancement method using histogram equalization, noise removal, and structural similarity index.
End-to-end OCR system for Vietnamese text. Uses YOLOv8 for text detection and VietOCR for recognition. Fine-tuned VGG19+Transformer and VGG19+Seq2Seq models for improved accuracy.
Machine learning platform to train and run inference on models predicting necessary nutrition amounts for rice plants. Includes data pre-processing pipelines and model evaluation.
ResNet50-based image classifier achieving 80% accuracy for bird species and 95% accuracy for ant/bee classification. Fine-tuned with transfer learning on custom datasets.
Research and implementation (from scratch) of several classical and modern noise removal methods for digital images. Comprehensive benchmarking across PSNR, SSIM metrics.
